Other Arizona Permanents

What is a permanent?
A permanent is very similar to a brevet (bra-vay) except it can be done solo.   Controls are at locations where the rider can either obtain a receipt of some sort at a store or a locale where he must answer questions about something special there and mark down the time.  Permanent mileage counts towards RUSA medals but not ACP medals).  You must be a member of RUSA to ride a permanent but membership is not expensive.
What's cooking?
Just submitted a route going from Superior to Winkelman, Tucson, Florence and then back.  It will be called San Pedro and the Gila Monster 250k since it follows both the Gila and San Pedro rivers.
